Course Description
Attendees will become familiar with image assessment techniques in Intra-operative Fluorescence Vascular Angiography (IFVA); including sequence capture to assess vessel function; angiography interpretation, and significance of physiologic flow patterns and operative results.

Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, the participant will be better able to:

  1. Identify and eliminate technical issues with bypass grafts, including poorly functioning and occluded grafts
  2. Assess rate of fluorescence and correspond to blood flow in native and bypassed grafts
  3. Use qualitative grading scale to describe appearance of fluorescence in coronary beds, demonstrating perfusion to microvasculature
  4. Identify competitive flow, retrograde flow and other blood flow patterns and discuss correlations to graft function
  5. Compare pre/post visualization of circulation and native to bypass run off
  6. Describe how the combination of live and angiographic images are used in summarizing findings for procedure documentation
